Dear dog lover,

We're working hard on making your experience here fun and worthwhile! The training is force-free in all classes and the dogs and their handlers enjoy learning. We help our dogs making the right choice, which means they learn to WANT to do what WE WANT them to do.


Our manners classes set a great FOUNDATION in basic obedience and allow continuation for higher levels up to the CGC®-Prep School and Rally College. Your dog is really good besides still pulling on leash? Check out our Loose Leash Walking private lessons below!


Our different sports classes help to increase focus, attention span and self-control both on and off leash while channeling the dog's energy into a desired behavior. Nose Work Beginners in January changed to SUNDAYS! Not sure which sport is best for you and your dog? Look at our NEW Sports Sampler Class below!


We'll offer a third DAYCARE day on Wednesdays, for MEDIUM-SIZE DOGS! We expect dogs from 30 - 50lbs, a few mellow dogs might be larger. This group will have an energy level comparable to our 6pm Open Play Times on Fridays. If you have been told your dog is too small or too young for our daycare, we now might have the right group for you! First Wednesday will be January 6th, 2016 - and you can contact us at any time about your dog wanting to join!  


More NEWS: Our annual Doggy Day (Responsible Dog Ownership = RDO-Day) will be held on Saturday, June 18th, 2016! We want to try a summer date to get away from hunting season and the high risk of cold and rain. Safe the date, either to have a booth or to just come for a day full of fun!

In following the increase of the minimum wage in Alaska, we feel it is also important to raise the wages of all BetCo team members to cope with the higher cost of living in our wonderful state.

Responsible Dog Ownership Day (Doggy Day) 

Our annual CGC®-test will not move and will be held as usual in September, with a possible second test date end of February. The CGCA®-test will be held on RDO-Day in June.

K9 Nose Work Beginners® on Sundays!

You asked, we listened - in January, we'll offer our K9 Nose Work Beginner class on a Sunday evening. Join the fastest growing sport and give your dog an outlet that is exciting, based on its natural instincts and will in the end calm your dog physically and mentally.

Starts January 17th, runs from 6:30-7:30pm.

Try out two weeks of each, Freestyle, Treibball and Agility!

Conveniently on Saturdays at 12-1:15 (includes set-up time)

Loose Leash Walking with the Gentle Leader®

Mini Private Lesson

Clients are raving about this new option! Your dog still pulls? Dislikes the head collar? Rubs and throws his head around? Never tried the head collar? Let us help you in a 30-minute lesson with only you and your dog! The effect is mind-blowing! Only $40 can change your leash-walking experience!

Monday, January 11th, starting at 5:30pm, last lesson at 7:15pm.

Doggy Daycare on Wednesdays

Starting January 6th, 2016.

Bring your dog as early as 7am; pick up preferably at 4-4:30pm; if dog can be kenneled, you may pick up as late as 6pm.

Pay for full days or half days (up to 4 hours); use a punch card and get your dog's 6th visit for free.

Reservation required; ask about our health and evaluation requirements.
